Venice

Alexander Herzen said: “To build a city where it is impossible to build a city is madness in itself, but to build there one of the most elegant and grandest of cities is the madness of genius.”

I love to explore the labyrinthine canal walks and bridges in Venice, photographing the most beautiful city in the world. At the beginning of the pandemic in February 2020 for the Carnivale I experienced low numbers of tourists. The city was deserted in places, a photographers dream.
